Jaylin Schuil; a compassionate, genuine counsellor who creates space for you to feel known, heard and connected.
Jaylin is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She is known for her authenticity and her ability to instill hope in others during their experiences. In her clinical work, she values meaningful connections as an essential tool for experiencing restoration, health, and well-being. Jaylin has worked with children, youths, and their families during her practicum at Child and Youth Mental Health, and she is enthusiastic about promoting positive mental health from childhood onwards. Additionally, Jaylin works as an addictions counsellor with adults, including those experiencing substance use, anxiety, depression, and trauma. For each person, connection is a crucial factor in addressing distress, including connection to oneself, to others, and to one's surroundings. Jaylin believes that this work can begin in the therapy room together!
